Van Krasnov, M.D.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Serving Santa Monica, California

Parenting a child who’s facing mental health challenges can feel overwhelming. You may wonder, is their anxiety just part of growing up, or has it become a barrier? Are their focus issues simply a phase, or something deeper? My goal is not to change what makes your child unique but to help them uncover their strengths and work through what may be holding them back.

Connecting naturally with young people can make all the difference. I offer a fresh perspective grounded in the latest advancements in psychiatry, and I communicate in a way that resonates with today’s generation. My approach centers on building genuine trust and understanding, so your child feels truly seen and supported.

As an independent psychiatrist, I’m able to offer care that is truly personal and never rushed. Unlike large, impersonal practices, my work is focused on building real connections and ensuring each patient receives the time and attention they deserve. Here, care is thoughtfully tailored to each individual, creating a space where your child can thrive.
